The BioStack 3 is a compact, high-efficiency microplate stacker designed to automate plate handling in a wide range of plate-based laboratory workflows. It streamlines loading, unloading, and—when equipped—automated delidding and re-lidding of microplates, significantly reducing manual steps and increasing overall throughput. Optimized for integration with BioTek’s suite of dispensers, washers, imagers, and readers, the BioStack 3 provides a seamless and reliable automation solution for labs aiming to improve consistency and walk-away time.

Compatible with microplates ranging from 24- to 1536-well formats, the BioStack 3 supports a variety of applications, including cell-based assays, ELISAs, and high-throughput screening. Its flexible storage capacity options (10, 30, or 50 plates, up to 75 for 1536-well), fast plate exchange times (<10 s with delidding, <12 s without lids), and optional barcode-enabled rotational gripper make it especially valuable for busy laboratories looking to scale operations without adding complexity.
